Default Low Pressure Load Availability-A Glimmer of Hope

I thought this article would be of interest to those here who love these great old guns and like shooting low pressure loads in them.

There may be a glimmer of hope over the horizon for us.

I also had read this article last weekend, I noticed the mention of Shenk Shotshells.
I believe there was a discussion about this new endeavor by them on this forum awhile back and I look forward to seeing what they have to offer.

Very encouraging. Hope it comes to pass. It would be good for everyone to have more than one source for low pressure ammo

They are taking pre-orders for 12 gauge currently. But are not promising any certain date that I can see.

“If we have learned nothing else from these past few years,” he said, “it’s that you should buy [ammo or components] when the sun shines. We’re seeing just how fragile supply chains can be.”

Some of us have been saying this well before 2020.

They are hoping for a February ship date, but that's hoping. I contacted them with questions about what they plan to produce. Waiting to hear the plan.

They are a 717 area code so should be in the Central PA area.

So Jake is planning on a full expansion, not just specialty length shells. They even have designs on 10 and 8 bore! He said their next void to fill is in the 16g line. They are trying to grow as sustainably as possible. Watch for their updates.

From prior discussion, I believe they’re in Glen Rock. That is less than an hour from us or the guys in Md, I’ll need to figure out where they’re at
