Why doesn’t Sherman Bell put his articles into a book?

Why would he need to - he had them all published in DGJ.

Presumably Bell transferred the publishing copyrights to the DGJ in payment of stipends and thus he couldn't redo those articles in a separate book. Besides, its easy to get $30k or so into publishing/printing even a nominal number of smaller books, in return for sales of what, maybe a few hundred of them? Then you have fellas who ask their buds or even on-line for bootleg copies and scans to save a few bucks on buying one themselves.

In net, a losing proposition. Methinks if anyone were to publish a book of Bell or Parker or Fox articles that have already been in the DGJ, that would be the DGJ or its legal successor.
