Default Doubling?

Anyone experience their gun doubling? I had it happen twice today....scared the life out of me! What may be some causes for it doubling?

If you have a Super Fox double on 3 inch shells, you can join a club no one needs to join. That hurt even worse than my 10 gauge Parker doubling

Double trigger, Parker Trojan. The only thing I can think of is the rear tang screw was tightened down pretty tight as it was proud coming out the top behind the safety. I loosened it back down, I'll get it out again and see if thats the ticket! Mills that 10 must have been loud!

It probably needs a good cleaning by a good gunsmith

Yep, that will wake you up when that happens. Happened to me in the flooded timber two weeks ago with my VHE12 that had never given me a speck of trouble. Only happened once.
I had a piece of tape on my trigger finger knuckle to pad it from getting banged up by the front trigger when I shot the left barrel. I tend to use too much finger tip when pulling the trigger. Well in trying to figure out what happened, I think the edge of the tape caught on the front trigger when I pulled the rear and both went off.
My fix was easy - ripped the tape off. Hope your fix is as easy.

Search the forum. There's a recent thread on this exact topic with DT's as I recall.
