Default Barrel selector switch problem

Anyone experiencing a problem with the Repro barrel selector switch sticking in place and unable to slide back and forth? The selector switch on one of my 20 ga repros is stuck in one position and just wont move. Stuck in the forward most position. Is there a trick to getting this selector moving?

I don't have a ton of experience with SST Repros, I've only owned a couple, but neither of the selectors on those two guns slid like butter, it took some effort. But, what I found is that if I Push hard, it'll come easy.

So, I would recommend that you push hard . . . perhaps real hard. After it has moved, give it a drop or so of lubricating oil and move it back and forth a few times until it slides the way you'd expect it to slide. After you've done this, please report back.

Greg, i put a touch of WD40 around it and tried to move it with hand but it would not budge. When i placed a small screw driver head across the top and pulled back, only then did it move. Same in moving it to the forward most position. Can't move it with hand. Only will move with the added leverage of the small screw driver across it. I'll have Dan or Ryan Cullity look at it in the coming week. I want it fully functional. My guess and from talking with Dean about this earlier today is that its binding up inside somehow. Backing off the screw that's under the top lever ever so slightly doesn't fix it either.
