I take both Blues and Greens (in GA and AR), no Cinnamons. The Cinnamon hens are blah, but the drakes are beautiful. Would love to have a drake Cinnamon, that I bagged, mounted. The map shows that the range of Spatula cyanoptera is well to the west of any region I hunt. I've been told by a friend that a great place to hunt them is on the Pacific coast of northern Mexico, and the migration map bears that out.

Green wings are the second most likely species to see here next to Wood ducks.

Always interesting to compare— a greenwing is somewhat of a trophy here, and bluewings quite common.
