Welcome Dave! So do you use your Parker while hunting with a couple of bird dogs? In any event, I assure you that you'll learn something from your membership. I certainly have.

Plan to do that next week. The orange one is retired (13 yrs) and the black one just turned one. He has been out with me for pheasants, but he was too young for the early grouse season. Looking forward to this year. Thanks for asking. PM me about yours?

Welcome aboard Dave. We have 3 good shoots in PA that are well attended by members. 2 at Hausmanns Hidden Hollow and 1 at Rock Mountain Sporting Clays. Hope to see you there. Check out the Southern SxS event as well if you aren't already familiar with it.

Oh, I see now, sporting clays. I have a new o/u I bought a couple of months ago for sporting clays. Maybe I will leave that one home and come with my Parker. Do people shoot clays with 2.5 shells?

No way to prove this but I would venture a guess that there are as many two and a half inch shells shot at the vintage shoots as there are of the longer version. At least in gauges smaller than the 12.

Hi Dave, welcome to the forum! I'm a couple hours from you in Wheeling. I also have 3 setters that I hunt alot. The Northeast SXS shoot at Hausmanns Hidden Hollow in Sullivan County in June and the Rock Mtn in July are great places to meet other Parker fans. Probably about 4 hours from you.
I used to go to Johnstown each October to run the Johnstown marathon.
