I decided to make the last hunt of the year a “dog’s hunt”. Just me and Kriegy, and shotgun. I allowed him to roam and followed him. Let him sniff and run and play. He pointed quite a few quail in the process. I even hit a few. For shells, went old school with Gamebore 16 gauge black powder loads. Lots of fun and a nice end of season dinner. On to the Southern!

But, Joe...where's the dog in the picture?!

Joe:

Nice stuff. Could you tell me where you purchased those Gamebore BP shells.
You can PM me if you want.

Thanks

I bought them from a gentleman who’s a member of the 16ga.com forum. He had placed them on GB. That said, I believe Galazan also has a supply of 16 ga BP shells for sale.

My pleasure, Bruce. Happy shooting. Perhaps with RST not attending, Galazan can bring a supply of shells.
