You know as I think back I believe 1st Sargent Mosteller told me he had a 20 ga 32” Sterlingworth . His brother got them all after Sarge passed and I know not whether he still has them .

Bobby, it's probably not the same gun but a 20b 32" Sterlingworth Ejector was on a table on Thursday morning, first day of the VGC at Hausmann's, and one of the Fox guys scored it at about 10 am after X number of people passed by. I might add, just as I was getting to those tables. Nice gun and oh so very rare in Ejector form. Several of us Fox nuts looked at the gun and blessed it with no reservations. Happy day for the new owner, a good long time friend!

Sorry to be late to the "game", but there were two 20 ga. ejector Fox guns with 32" barrels on Kirby Hoyt's table at the Bray's Island Exposition in April of '2018 or 2019, can't remember exactly which year. One was a graded gun and the other a Sterly. A friend in MS bought the graded one, but sold it last year, AIR. Both were in extremely nice condition. I wanted one very badly, but wasn't willing to pay the prices asked. It turned out okay, though. A year later I was able to buy my Parker DHE 16/20 two barreled set, both with 32" barrels, for considerably less $$$. Dove gun supreme.

Kirby: No idea on either question. The AHFCA never had copies of the Sterlingworth factory records. A 16ga Sterly with ejectors is a rare gun.

Well, after much anticipation, my letter on my BH arrived today. Ordered by the Tuft Lyons Gun Co. of Los Angeles, CA. So . . . no one famous or even known at all. Oh well.

Keep the faith ! Over time you may find owner number 4 or 7 or 12 may have been someone of note . Heck forty or fifty years from now someone just might say this gun was owned by a great attorney and author from Savanah !
