interstate 86 is the old four lane route 17 with the grade crossings removed, 417 is the really old two lane 17.
you can get off 86 at Nichols and head south on 282 into PA- a GPS or mapquest will fill in the back roads that's my usual route, going to be sorry to miss it this year.

I go I-81 to Wilkes Barre, then 309 to 29 into Tunkhannock then Rt 6 to Meshoppen, 267 through Lawnton then 4015 to Flynn Rd. Takes me about 3 hrs from Harrisburg.

afraid so- been called to grand jury duty starting the week before (5 days a week for 4 weeks, they said the DA can't figure out a better way - I think we need a smarter DA )- so that ties up Friday, and the granddaughters' first dance recital is Saturday, so that would leave a rushed trip on Sunday getting there late morning- I figure that mornings at these events is generally the last shooting and lots of folks will be filtering out to hit the road.
