From the sounds I hear from my roof I expect all moisture to be well-wrung out of the atmosphere by tomorrow morning. Anyway, I plan to make the trip down to Addieville.
Kathy G., sometimes an unofficial event photographer, will not be present. She travels on the morrow to New York City to perform with her Concord, New Hampshire-based orchestra. I will have a GH 12- gauge, choked full and full; ammo and be wearing rubber boots (“wellies” for those who project a mid-Atlantic-Man panache).

I have three grandchildren sleeping here tonight so we can get an early start in the morning.
Kathy has decided to come along to help "herd the cats" and she's bringing Grace to add to the ruckus. I'll get my own key so we don't slow anybody down. It's gonna be some fun! .

Good shoot today. Challenging course as usual. Great camaraderie. But no pictures to show. No one brought a camera. lol. Good thing as I missed many shots

Kathy got a picture or two but as we were just shooting as a family, that's all we have.
We enjoyed it very much and it was nice to visit with our local PGCA friends. My granddaughters had never shot a firearm before today but each of them broke about a dozen clays at hard crossers that I never thought they would hit. We voted them "Most Improved"! Kathy shot at two incomers and smashed them both and I wish she had shot more but she was more interested in watching the grandkids. Between Cam, Izzy, Lill, and myself we shot at 280 clays. Cam has improved too, breaking almost 50%. The wind made for some interesting targets and at every shot Grace looked intently for a falling grouse or woodcock.... poor girl was pretty confused! .

As is often the case, I had ample opportunity to admire the grace and guile of the completely intact wild New England Clay bird. They will not be placed on any endangered list anytime soon. It's always a pleasure shooting with other side-by-side people. I never met one I didn't like. Today was fun, if only that we all laughed at our misses, without excuse.

Had a great time today, had more to do with the people and dog ( Grace) than the targets. The shooting is fun but that can be done any time, learned some things ,saw some great guns and had a lot of laughs. Look forward to next time.

Here's my little crew.
Left to right- myself of course, Grace, Iz, Cam and Lill... Kathy isn't pictured because she's the photographer... Also distinguishable by their absence (they are shooting elsewhere on the course) are Edgar Spencer, Allen Newell, Dan Carter, Russell, Keith and one other (can't remember his name) who was shooting a gun with the barrels going the wrong way.
