Who has a 28ga hammergun???
Small bore event should be 20,28,410. A hammergun event will work and I was thinking of a round as all true pairs. With two courses perhaps we could persuade Dan to set one up for pairs. We can do two man teams as well the sky is the limit.

David perhaps you can persuade your "friends" to have your small bore event at Drakes and get some more shooters into the mix.

I'll do that and I'm sorry to hear that. How did that happen?

Fjelline is a great guy and a good friend. He was operating a backhoe and a piece of cement flew into and penetrated his eye. He has a chance of not losing the eye and should know in 10 days. His comment to me was"I am left eye domenent anyways and will just learn to shoot left handed". He was in his shop working on a gun yesterday, 2 days after a four hour eye surgery. Tough guy!!

You can't keep a good man down and Dave is a Good Guy!! If there's a way, he'll find it... all by himself. That guy is dependent on no man!.... but he is a friend and helpful to all.

Wow, I dont know Dave, but I have been an optometrist in a medical setting for 30+ years, and have seen alot of ocular trauma. Hopefully, there was not much retinal damage. Our prayers are with him!

On another note, I was at our local NRA banquet last night and was talking to a couple of sporting clays shooters who are very good. I have shot with them and they are often 90+/100. They are going to the Southern SXS for the first time also. They are not into vintage guns(yet), and I believe shoot Beretta sxs's. Maybe I can get them to jjoin us for a round at Deep River.

I wish Dave the best with his eye. I am left eye dominate also and wouldn't want to learn to shoot left handed
