Well, came close Saturday morning, Tom hung up when he saw my jake, and went the other way.... It happens, I would say, close but no cigar, but that just wouldn't be true.....

So far this Spring my Turkey hunting has been uneventful. Saw two hens thus far.

Hens like our yard so the fellows follow them ad-nauseum!! I get them with a Canon Powershot as I enjoy them coming back, except when I have outside work to do. These guys feed in the unharvested winter wheat field next to us and are a joy to watch.
