Thanks guys for sharing the pictures of your engraved gun alway enjoy seeing the older engravings,my favorite was Phil's Remington with the engraved setter by Joseph Loy. J.J.

Not much in the way of a "high tail" on these vintage Setters. The older Skitso has gotten the lower her tail has become.

the setters from a three dog very early DH - I especially like the looking back pose of the floorplate dog - also shown is the right side setter from that gun

and third - since no one has shown one - a German deep scene engraving on a JP Sauer & Sohn

It's important to include Lefever in any conversation regarding engraved setters. First is an early BE 16ga, second is a VERY Special - Special Order.
