Time to put this baby to bed. Didnt want to start an argument, no lets call it a discussion, on this topic. Dean, usually gets the heat on this but he does not
run the BOD. A banquet would have to be planned /arranged far in advance, and there would not seem to be enough additional facilities at Ernies to handle it. Would love to do both, and someday will get there, just not this year. Looking forward to seeing all my old shooting friends, and hope to meet many new ones.

Just curious, what is the status of Covid restrictions for both NY state and PA relative to non residents as far as; required to have a recent Covid test in hand on arrival with need to immediately quarantine, limits on gathering etc.. Given what I am reading in the news about the Covid situation nationally I am not holding out a lot of hope that things will be normal by early June but I would like to attend the shoot if possible. NH does impose a 14 day quarantine on residents returning from any travel outside of New England and that is a PITA.

Pete, I live here on the NY PA border on the NY side and things are normal with the exception of no gatherings over 50 indoors, everyone is masked, social distancing...etc. As far as travel restrictions there's this (below) from Cuomo, but nobody pays any attention to him north of "the City." Staying in a hotel might depend on the hotel you choose if you stay on the NY side whether they press you on the issue. Not sure I helped you at all.

Maybe I missed it Andy - did Cuomo address the situation where a traveler had received both vaccine injections?

Technically travel between NY and Pa is restricted in both directions. As Andy says the rule is being ignored.

Honestly Dean I pay zero attention to him. I’ll leave that at that lest some bot finds my words and hunts me down. I do know some people carry their vaccine card just in case. It’s much more relaxed up here than in the cities.

If interstate travel restrictions remain in effect thru the summer the greatest impact will be on Airline Travelers or those who travel by toll roads. That's where the record is.

FWIW New York State took out all their toll booths and went to cashless tolling, EZPass or they mail a bill based on a photo of your license plate. Orson Welles (correction George Orwell) told us this day was coming but he was wrong about it starting in 1984.

Pete, as one who spent the last six years of his Law Enforcement career as the National Coordinator of our largest Criminal Intelligence Sharing System dealing with four million plus records, the ezPass system is Childs play and nothing to worry about. That is all I can say.
