Heff - Lewiston is about 20 minutes north of our cabin. If you haven't tried it, try the "Villager" for Breakfast, and obviously Tally's for a burger and beer. The Lewiston Sportsman's League is a great sporting clays course. I also organize a fundraiser shoot in the latter part of August for a Conservancy which I serve on. I will post a notice here as we get closer to the date

Thanks Ed - every dog is different and each has its own personality and various foibles.

Grace has no problem hunting... or pooping... but simply can't abide the beeper - it's just too damn loud. I really don't know how any dog could stand it.

I simply don't even turn it on anymore. I hunt her with a bell and just keep an ear peeled for when it goes quiet.
