Dean, at 78 years old, I have had 75 wonderful years with setters, with a pointer or two squeezed in. I even had setters when I was working for Uncle Sam, with my dad as custodian. You will survive this bump in the road and come out with another dog of your life. Press on, my friend.

I just read of the passing of your Gracie. I was unaware of the loss of your wife as well. My condolences on both losses. Only those of us that have these hunting partners know their value and meaning to us. |
