I made a pointed brass tip and used superglue to fasten it to the ball on the gauge. It allowed me to measure wall thickness in the pitting on a set of barrels. I found only 16 to 17 thou of wall left in the pits. Those barrels are tagged "Do Not Use". Good thing the gun has a second set of barrels which were fine. The brass tip was easily removed from the Manson gauge and saved for later use. The barrels await a new version of the Teague liners that I hope becomes available.

George, who is doing the new version of relining, and do you know how it corrects for the issues with the Teague method?
Thanks!

Don't know about a new lining process, but I have hope that some smart guy is working on it.
