Are those the 6000 Gamebore custom loaded for one guy ? I have a friend hes been shooting them because a number of boxes came with his 8 ga. I think they are stout 2 1/2 ounce loads.

That's them. I think Marshall Field had a small covey of steel barrel Purdeys that he dealt out to guests. Don't know how many of those shells he had loaded, but I have a lifetime supply. Yup, they are stout.

Hmmmm I’m not sure if I stopped at $5300 or $5400 . So it actually sold ! I figured the guy put a reserve on it for more than that .

When I stopped bidding on the gun I was asked if I wanted to bid on the shells . Originally I thought I might but I didn’t and told them no and got off the phone .
