I received some 2 7/8 10ga brass from Track of the Wolf today for my O grade hammer gun and tried it in this 10ga and it must take 2 5/8 because it would not close on the 2 7/8. Which make sense on this light of gun.

I guess the lower pellet count would make sense too, 2 7/8 vs. 2 5/8's.

I wonder what the lightest 10ga Hammer gun on the books is?

I have Mr. Price's ID & Serialization book inbound.
