It really was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Actually, all three Parker Gun Foundation dinners have been once in a lifetime opportunities.

I have been blessed and my life is richer by knowing and being friends with fine people through the PGCA, among them Charlie Green, Gary Carmichael and Charlie Herzog who have shared their significant and museum quality collections with members.

I have acquired boats, sporting memorabilia, books, artisan turned burl bowls, wolf pelts and many fine and wonderous things through PGCA friends. Most importantly are the friendships themselves with people in distant places and who lead different lives whom I never would have met but for our organization.
