I'm really enjoying my PP. I especially like Craig's CHE. I am sure others have seen some of the anomalies Craig speaks about, and it's fun just wondering how they came about. My 30" grade 2 16ga is one like Craig's, with the mysterious numbering. The gun is 76544, but the hammers are stamped 77544.

Got my issue, too . . . wonderful, as always! I always like to read the PGCA Doubles Club listing as I like seeing my name and reliving the moment
 But what really struck me as phenomenal, and one that I hadn't noticed before, was the double one of our members accomplished many moons ago -- and that was a double on geese . . . with a VHE .410!!! You have to admit, that is one h--- of an accomplishment!

My guess is that they were shot from a pit blind in a mowed cornfield with decoys all around him. Not too hard to take head shots at geese settling in on cupped wings
 I once tried to take a longbeard with my 28 ga. Repro but when Grandaddy came in to about fifteen yards I was cuttin' ZZZZZZZZZ's..............how embarrassing!! .
