Good news! Just got back from the Dr., OK to drive. I plan on being at Hausmann's Thursday, Friday, and Saturday assuming I don't break another bone! Of course, I'll be shooting the Bull, not the Gun

You asked me for info and I sent you info. I posted the event about a month ago.

If Mario shows up you should have a shot at Runner Up

Careful, she might not be so generous.

She’d actually be no different than the usual suspects I shoot with. No gimmes, gotta earn them all. I’d have it no other way.

Harry, in the double gun world the best shooters are in the 90-98 range consistently. I have shot with guys who posted 100/100 one time. It is rare. And I shoot with and have shot with very good shooters. I’ve only posted a 100/100 one time. 50/50 is obviously easier, but still a difficult task. All it takes is one bad mount, mistake in your move, blink at the wrong time, etc and the bird is lost. There too I’ve seen few 50/50 in competition. I’ve had more of those than 100s, but would still like more. There’s always those one or two birds that you have a brain-fart with. That’s why it is recommended, and here at The Rock if we have no trappers we require shooters to be out with a minimum size squad of 3 shooters. Four is better. That removes any doubt and improprieties when the cards are turned in. Shooting with our crew, you better have thick skin. If you don’t hit it, you don’t get it and abuse is doled out abundantly!!

I’d say average here is mid 70’s to mid 80s. Better is that mid 80s to low 90s.

Lessons are always available……

Seen today at Rock Mountain: three Lefevers working out with a Model 21, in prep to (hopefully) qualify for the Fox-Lefever Challenge at Hausmann's. I hate to say it here but the Big Red W was high gun today. The one 32" Lefever on the left needs a bit more practice.

Since posting I had two questions on the slip-on pads shown. They are made by Beartooth and I assume they can be found on-line.
