I picked up the little Belgium 410 hammer gun from Brian Hornaceck , John Allgood caught me at a weak moment and I bought a Grade 1 10 gauge 3 frame 32” gun with a good bit of condition ( first time I fired the gun was in the hammer challenge). Bought a quite nice little Parker VHE 16 gauge skeet gun (26” , straight grip , SST , beaver tail , checkered butt ). An LOM from Kevin for the skeet gun and two other cases from the Lowensteiner Boutique

I actually had a couple things there I would have liked to move , but I don't think I mentioned them and I know for a fact they never saw the light of day in NC .

I was there mid-day Friday for several hours. I think most folks were out shooting! I did speak with a few PGCA members but the Parker tent was basically empty the couple of times I dropped in. I had originally planned to come back on Saturday but the plans kind of changed last minute and I didn't get back. As always it was an enjoyable time despite the fact that I came home empty handed.

We were there Thursday. No one in the tent when we checked, and Josh was the only member we spoke with (he had some great guns). There were certainly lots of great guns to look at…and Elaine let me take one home. Scheming how to blood it now. What a great problem.

No guns although a bunch of stuff from Galazan and some vintage shotshell boxes from Eric Kramer.

I met and re-met some really great Parker folks and had a great time. Just got home after a ten hour, no stops except for gas and wee wee drive. My quest for a 20g Superposed RKLT in the condition I wanted wasn't fulfilled. The sheer number of Parkers blew me away. See many of you I hope at Ernie's and Mike's this year.

I bought a very nice circa 1919 LC Smith special order gun. 12ga 30" engraved like an older A-1 with a fancy stock, fancy capless pistol grip. The gun is very beefy at 8lbs 14oz, built like a #3 frame Parker 12ga or a Super Fox, think duck gun. I sold a Q-3 LCS 10ga 30" to make room for the new gun. I was on the lookout for a nice original 20ga GH damascus or a PH 20ga twist, no luck. Tons of great guns and lots of commerce taking place. The Southern is a must do for anyone interested in vintage SxS's.
