Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Craig: I am a long time #1 guy. As I sit typing this I am looking at six of them. They seem to vacillate up and down in price based on model and caliber. I have stuck with some of the "off" caliber stuff like 22 BR and rechambered 6mm BR etc. I also have a re-barrel gun in 17 Fireball done by Mark Penrod with a Lilja barrel. All but one of my #1's have had trigger work done on them.

Looking at this thread, Andy, it takes a while to learn. Often, you will buy a few and later see what is a good deal and what is not. It is easy to get Parker fever and jump in and then learn more and buy more wisely. I watched a nice GHE sit for over 2 years, not really over priced but it had an ugly white line pad on it and a length of pull at 15 1/4. Looked at it again and spoke to Brian and others about it and guessed it was sitting because it looked like the stock must have been cut but not true. I made an offer, sent it to Brian for a repro butt plate and a clean up on the wood and I am very pleased with a nice steel barrel GHE 28" with a 14 1/4 lop at a reasonable price 12 ga 1 1/2 frame at just under 7 lbs. Take your time, there are some nice Parkers out there with your name on them. Half the fun is the search and the expertise that will guide you is all over this forum and they're always glad to help.
