John shot doubles today and broke 97/100
Nice Work John!! Now this evening I have been informed that John's 97/100 was equaled by just one other shooter who also shot a 97/100 leaving the decision of a winner to be made in a twenty-shot shoot-off. Final score..... John Davis broke 19 straight while his worthy opponent broke 18 before his first miss. The result is that John Davis won the 2021 Grand American Class D Doubles Championship! ! ! The Ref said he had never before seen anyone shoot a SXS with double triggers, a vent rib and a beavertail forend in competition... ever. .
