Twenty or 22 VH 12s with Twist Steel barrels were made for the Iver Johnson company and sold for $25 each if I remember correctly. We posted photos on the forum about six to eight years ago.

The poster's photos show a Trojan Twist barrel set, not Damascus. I have seen a V grade with one barrel of fluid steel and the other Twist Steel. They were blued, Parker factory blued in my judgement.

Bruce ,That would be correct ,in the Serialization Book it is listed as this ;
" PX H O C 12 28 "
P - Plain Twist
X - Experimental ???
O -No Extras
C - Capped Pistol Grip , Maybe Capped ,maybe standard Trojan Grip ?
12 - Gauge
28 - 28" Barrels
