I have owned two of them, shot one yesterday. A full and full 32" 20 on a #2 frame is an adventure on a five stand. The question always comes up, "What you shootin' in that thing?".

Seems to me an 00 frame 28 ga. is much more desirable than an 0 frame 28ga. And everyone gets excited over 0000 frame 410s too. Works the other way too, large frame 16 and 20 gauges peak a lot of interest as well.

The OP asked about 12 ga frames, not about other gauges and frames.

I have a 2 frame 30" 20 GHE with 3" chambers, s/n close to the Widgeon duck club guns. The breech end of the barrels look like a 600 Nitro Express but the view down the tubes is priceless.

A little off the subject but can you give me an idea of what the serial number range was on the Widgeon duck club guns?

The actual Widgeon gun club numbers are in the TPS but I believe they are in the high 150,000's.
