Mark: The only thing I see wrong with it is that it's not mine! Post some photos of the barrel muzzles. We have many here that can provide info on whether or not they have been cut.
Great find. Now you must join the PGCA to learn more about these fine guns. You should obtain a letter on this one and will save about $60 as a member. Bob

the book says 30 inch barrels so, cut is not a worry

but a letter on a D grade may give you some interesting history

Joined the day i bought the gun last week! I have almost every major American Double maker represented in my collection, but this is only my second Parker, the first one doesnt count as it is a customized 20ga vh. Most of my collection are factory straight stock guns, for which i have an unhealthy fetish. Had this gun been straight stocked, i would be deep in the Turkey 101 already here at the office. This is the first time I bought a gun over "the net" that did not have some degree of "ground shrinkage!", this one is way better than advertised. Just measured the chambers, and they are 2 5/8ths", as i understand it, that is Parkers length for a 2 3/4 shell design?

Okay, now im gonna hit the turkey for another reason. Tried to ring the tubes (4weight btw), got a thud.....looked closer.....did some tapping around, and inexplicably about 2" of rib is loose starting about 4" back from the business end......i dont kick dogs (especially my Vizsla's), but Lord protect any cat standing around the front door when i walk in this evening!! Still happy......but not as much..
