I am a new member but have followed the forum for some time and have always been impressed with the respect shown in posts for our military. I completed 41 years of service in 2011, after volunteering to go back on active duty after 9-11, and stayed active another 8 years.
There are so many of our military heroes who were and continue to be Parker owners. I know the Parker Brothers would be proud. Thanks for your work to tell another heroes story, I look forward to your article in DGJ.

Thank you for over four decades of service to our nation! My only hope, is that my homage to Commander Averill will allow another unsung hero a few more precious minutes in the spotlight, and grant him the recognition he so justly deserves. No offense to Mr. Warhol, but fifteen minutes isn't nearly enough!
