Here's my LL Bean Birdhunter knife, I've had her a long time. Anyone know who made these for Beans.

I have a Buck bird knife and I hate to admit that I don't know how a gut hook should be used.

I think I showed these before,, picked them up for $5 at a gun show,, still unopened. I think they were from the 60-70 era.
And no, never used a gut hook, ain't that what fingers are for?
Seriously, I fillet the breasts and legs off birds leaving the wings, guts, etc, still in the body cavity.

Nice Randalls Chris! I have a Model 8 like yours and also an old style 8. What's the other one?

Not positive but I think it's a Model 7 Fisherman/Hunter (center of this photo.) And the one on the far right I think is a Model 26 Pathfinder with a stag center.
What does your old style 8 look like?

Now someone will have to ask what multi-tool they like to carry around!
