Absolutely. This brings up the conversation of pet health insurance. I have it on both of my dogs. Will pay 80% of each bill up to $10K per year and up to $50K for the life of the dog; I pay $55 per month for star. The Bill on this surgery will be $9350. Of that I will pay & $1870. Please consider taking out insurance. i use embrace insurance company.

We've already totaled more than $9K on our two dogs with cancer within the past several weeks. I keep thinking about buying insurance for our younger dog. Maybe all of this will help me decide.

I sent a message to Dr. Dana telling him that the team there made a friend of mine VERY happy.

His reply, though he was not the surgeon who worked on Star is below.

Just saw this Steve, he is a lucky dog to still be alive, thanks to your paying attention to him. I know of a couple of setters that didnt make it into the vets til it was too late.
