Mills, I hope you're right. What a pleasant surprise that would be!
It could'nt happen to a nicer guy.

David, without the marks, it could be a DHE 28 gauge. We'll wait until we have the real marks. My guess is that it is a #$^&%@*. Sorry, my computer is running low on power.

Either way it is turning out as a cool gun either a heavy 10 gauge or an 8 gauge.

Good luck Charlie ! I've got my fingers crossed for you.

You will have to do a side by side photo of the new gun and the little
20 gauge you bought from me.

Kind regard,

Jeff

Charlie, I'm disappointed to hear of the short comings of this gun, but it is all fixable.
I'm glad you're happy, and if you were able to make your old 8 ga shootable, then this one should be a piece of cake!
Post pictures! David

Charlie: I didn't see your post till now so sorry I didn't answer earlier. I do have a 9.7 pound barrel on my 34 inch 10 ga. It sounds like you got another Turkey killer. Thomas

Sounds like a great project Charlie. I like project guns a lot myself but I think I already have enough for the next 20 years.
