It took them two years to figure that out? I'd start hunting for a new gunsmith.

The people at Darlington Gun are really great smiths , Jim Kelley, but getting the work done takes some finesse. I have seen many a gun sit there for 3-4 years before they get to it. If there is a reason to get it done:duck season, a SC shoot etc they will get right on it though.

I will attest to them being great gunsmiths and they did an English hammer gun with great results.

They said the old 8 was beyond repair. Not 2 weeks later, Charlie had it shooting again. It spent most of the two weeks travelling from SC to Mississippi too.

The old 8 was in bad shape too. Charlie pulled off a real feat in getting it back shooting
