Other than studying the many variations of name engraving on my V grades, I find nothing noteworthy. My higher grade guns all seem 'common'.
I think I need more guns. No, you don'tShut up

Bill, the hammer gun isn't mine but belongs to a collector who would rather remain anonymous.

I really feel privileged that some of these otherwise 'anonymous' collectors allow us to enjoy their Parkers here on the forum. I hope they will always allow us to enjoy them at least this way.

Bruce,
I love the C grade guns that have the dogs in a circle at the back of the frame instead of in the middle. Like the one you pictured. Kind of a mixture of B grade into it.

Thank you for the kind words. This gun is a 1904 Damascus 20 ga, one of only a few known.

I wonder how many total guns were produced with the roundaval engraveing like that. I have a CHE Bernard 16 with that style of engraving but have only seen three with that style.

I've seen or seen pictures of at least fifteen Parkers with the roundel or roundelle style of engraving - the lowest grade was a GH in sixteen gauge that sold quickly on gunbroker while I was trying to decide how high I was willing to go..... duh!!
