Guys, somebody around here needs to be able to think logically, be calm, cool and collected, and be able to spell. That's what attorneys do and you should be thanking your lucky stars every day that you have me. And if that doesn't work, I can resort to my former profession of dropping big iron bombs.

A person just can't take himself too seriously when he hunts with Charlie and me. Bill, for example. He kept on shooting the little hen quail when we shoot only the males. And I believe he got so excited once that he tried to reload his shotgun with his stogie. Dunkle, I don't even know where we would start, but I know there is plenty of material there. The Great Plains Records Depository and Archives contain much material about John.

John hunted out here last fall, and I'm told he thought to his dismay that hitting those fast flying pheasants would be easy. You combine a 30mph wind and 25 mph bird and you have a fast crossing target. John was hunting around Greenwood Kansas and went through a lot of boxes of shells without many birds to show for it. He managed to get some hits, though.

Bruce,

First thing I shot that hen quail in self defense, and as we all know that a robusto is about the same ring gauge as a 20 ga shell, Anyone could have made that mistake. As far as you dropping iron bombs on anyone, I saw your navigation skills. You may be able to fly a B52 but unless you got someone like Herzog along to tell you where to go your screwed.

On another note! I would like to thank Bruce for arranging our hunting trip to Kansas last January. He was ultimate host and introduced me to what have become wonderful Friends. For that I Bruce will always be in my good graces, even though he is a Attorney.
