From Markethunter to Falstaff; no great stretch. For me, Falstaff was a common brew; right up there with PBR.

FYI: PBR is making a big comeback. Often the brew of choice among the cool college crowd. It cracks me up to see it being offered in upscale restaurants and bars in SE Michigan. Is Falstaff even brewed anymore? Now, if they would just bring back Black Label. |

Fred;
Right on about PBR. If you ever invite Destry to a turtle soup supper he will find PBR somewhere to add to the repast. BTW if he repeats the PBR on the next invite he will suffer no supper. I much prefer the smelly hat over PBR. This for Jay; Keep in mind that the PBR college crowd are still in the learning process. Roger |

Boys,
I've been drinking Pabst since I needed a rubber nipple put on the bottle. It's nice that the Yuppie College Crowd have all started drinking it, just makes it all the more available in bars that wouldn't otherwise carry it. Jay, You can still buy Black Label in Canada oddly enough, though I usually go for Old Vienna when I'm over there. Roger, Have you got any squirrels on stash? I've got two nice young greys that I could add to the skillet if you do. I killed them down at home a few months back and have been saving them for just such an occasion. Lets have a feed. I thought of you the other evening while I was drinking a cool PBR watching BB King and Buddy Guy at the Fox Theater in Detroit. A fine beer for just such an occasion if there ever was one. Regards, Fall Stiff aka Capt Bogardus aka Cletus M. Johnson

Squirrel is good. Turtle(roasted) is better. Muskrat's good if cooked right(if not is nasty). Smoked carp....mmmmm. Walleye cheeks are best. Need them all for a good game feed. Smiles.
