Yes, Edgar they are the same shells you found for me, even though the look OK Wayne is probably right about the primers not firing, I have a full box of 8 gauge shells but do not want to break them up, I also found some loaded 8 gauge shells that came with the P grade 8 gauge steel barreled gun that I had some years back, Just afraid to shoot them in my P grade twist 8 gauge hammer gun since I do not know what pressure they are, but will work it out , Gary

those are great looking shells i also say about 1915 they were loaded...i have shot or tried to shoot some 10 ga black powder loads about these 8 ga s age..the problem i had with them the primer went off and the load lodged about halfway up the barrel..there was alkind of spewing and differant colors of smoke comeing out of the barrels..had me scared to open the britch of the gun i honestly thought the barrels would be damaged..i had a brass rod there with me too knock out wads or hulls with so i brithed the gun and punched out the spewing powder all of this must have happened about 45 secounds...those were mighty pretty colors of smokebut atlast i have not shot any more old black powder shells..i have fired lots of old smokeless powder shell and for the most part went bang... the black powder had turned into a solid state....charlie
