Werden is his new safety vest, with his tongue sticking out. This dog is a hoot!

You guys are bringing a lot of stress to my life. I am only weeks from losing my Wirehair and I am starting to plan for the future at 72 years old.

It's been quite a while since I checked in, but here are some pictures of the progress (& growth) of Werden my WHPG. Though we didn't have much luck in the woodcock, he is still learning he can't crowd them to much, he is doing well in the pheasant fields on his first day out. Nice points and great retrieves! He will be a year on the 27th of this month.

My late friend Reagan would approve. I start every season with her. She even helps point my Westley Richards a bit better.

Those Wirehairs sure do make retrieving a great game. I couldn't hide enough crap in my house or in my yard to give Eva any hard time. She would keep going until she brought me everything that wasn't tied down and some stuff that was tied down. Congratulations on your new pup.
