I live a little over an hour from Sioux Falls in Iowa. We are supposed to get pretty severe winds here and associated wind chills in the low to mid negative 40s over the next several days. I would never subject my dog or myself to that $h1t. Right now it’s brutal enough just to take her outside to relieve herself.

Several years ago on the last day of our hunt in SD we got heavy snow, wind, and frigid temps. To Daryl’s point when we left the next morning as we headed East portions of I-90 were closed in MN and we had to drop South through Iowa to get back home. It was a “white knuckle” trip until we crossed the river in the Quad Cities area. If that ever happens again we’ll just stay until things open up. I’m getting a little smarter as I get older!! Good call Harold….your pups will thank you for it!

It's pretty cold here in Northwest Ohio too.
