No, it’s not Tall Pines, it’s a nice place over in Vestal/Binghamton.

Maybe Josh will come on here and tell us.

Have never been, so would like to go, just to see what it is like, and meet some more members. But then again, you know how relaxing our little campground festivity is--at least you looked pretty darn relaxed.

Indeed I was. In fact you caught me in my ‘upright sleeping’ pose.

I started camping there in 2012, and Allan McLane and I started the Beer & Ribs thing, about 2014 as I recall. Vestal/Binghamton is too damn far to drive back to on a full stomach, so I'll just kick back, as usual, and cook some ribs. Last time, '19 I think, I bought a ticket but some hoarder took my doorprize hip flask. Not naming names but...............

I have an extra Edgar..... I'll even put some whisky in it if you're nice to me.

Traditions was the old IBM golf course. Word is they'll be sold this year or shut down. I know the owners well they own the building I'm in now.

The 2019 Vintager's at Ernie's included a ticketed prime rib meal in a tent held on the lower field. It seemed to be well attended. Why risk drivers trying to negotiate the deer infested back roads to Hidden Hollow at night to provide revenue to some joint in Vestal when this could be a comfortable party to those who venture to the backwoods of Friendsville? Come on! Is somebody trying to cash in? For those who are staying in Vestal, they have to drive back anyways. To those who are staying at Ernie's a 60 mile round trip to Vestal is a bit much to ask.

Dr Bob, i agree with you. Will probably just stay at the camp--you ought to drop by this year, and bring Ken & Chris-this is an official invite. Many folks fluent in Lefever there also.
