Thanks for posting the comparisons, Edgar. I am mildly surprised the Meriden forends weigh virtually the same as the Repros despite them having less wood.

I know longer have the gun, but had a double trigger, 20 gauge Repro with a straight grip with splinter forearm. Weight was 6 lb 12 oz. Killer Claro walnut. I got rid of it because of the weight. I was an avid grouse hunter at that time and it was just too heavy to haul up and down the mountains. This was probably at least 10 years ago. PS. Sold it to a guy in Pa. Chokes were mod/full.
