A true gentleman grouse hunter always leaves some "seed birds". Heck, you can't just shoot 'em all... it just wouldn't be fair.

I can now comfortably inform others that I am a "gentleman" hunter. My Saskatchewan gale force winds excuse has worn thin over the years.

Ruffin it again today.....

Used those dangerous old damascus barrels to bag a pair, and missed two others on purpose to leave behind as seed birds (hey, I really like that one!).

Here's a uniquely "mixed" wild bag on the opening weekend...though I must admit that the 5 point bull has nothing to do with a fine old double...

Well come over to Michigan and hunt with Rich and me... Very easy Last week of Oct Rich will be up at his camp and I am trying to make it too unless I have to hunt anothe spot come on up ! Oh sorry you have to shoot those clay things.....

Thanks for the invite Eric. Danny and I decided at 4pm Friday to head to camp. So we threw a bunch of stuff in a bag grabbed 3 box's of shells ,three guns a 12 ,16 and 20 and headed to VT 5 1/2 hours later we rolled up. A fantastic weekend...
