Corey, wonderful engraving. Would that be an early 1900s gun? Circa 1904-5? The setter, especially, appears to be like those from that period's engraver.

I believe he stated in the other thread about the restorations of the gun that it was 1907.

The pointers on the action of my gun wasn’t the first time that theme was used. While the birds engraved ahead of the dogs are different, similar pointers/background were engraved on an earlier gun.

Someone on the forum had shared with me this post from 2006. Interesting.

Not a Parker but some of the nicest and well proportioned dogs I have seen.
Please tap on each picture for best resolution.
I couldn't walk away from this gun despite it having a Cutts installed.
Headed out for a week of Turkey hunting in the morning.
I am hoping to find out who engraved it when I return.
