209882 is the serial number of my GHE 20 gauge that is apparently a two barrel set. Does anyone have my #2 barrel set for this gun?

That's interesting Deano, does your research letter indicate it had a second set of barrels other than the 28" eleven-gauge barrels?

Dean, A second set were ordered in 1879 according to Order Book No. 5, among other requests. Actually had to send pictures to Mr. Bishop to figure out what I have. Its a long shot at best..... and I've taken some very "long shots" before, at least at grouse, its worth a try.
