An Eastern fan as well... Been with them for a number of years. A question: my understanding is that my coverage is "all risk", which means if I fall while hunting and crack the stock or ding the barrels, Eastern will pay for replacement or repair. Has anyone had experience with processing such a claim?

Mike I don't have first hand knowledge but I talked to a man a few years ago at the Vintagers that said he had broken his stock at the grip will hunting and it was covered.

I appreciate all of the input. This thread pushed me to make a call this morning to Jack. I looked over my insurance policy last night and somehow had not realized if something happened I would not even get a small % of my guns covered.
Upon speaking with Jack this morning he gave me a quick rundown on the policy’s available. I am sharing what I have learned. An example $80,000 with a 5% discount for being an NRA member or a Parker collectors Association Member was $251.00 per year. This has a $250.00 deductible per occurrence. Guns are covered anywhere in the world. I asked if I was hunting and someone broke into my truck, would it be covered and the answer was yes. I asked if I fell down and broke my stock and the answer was yes, just the $250.00 deductible.
What if I shipped the gun to a gunsmith for a repair and it was damaged in shipment would it be covered, the answer was yes.
Jack also mentioned that for example if the butt stock was broken and had to be replaced on a collectible gun, it would affect the value with the none original stock, so they would cover not only the stock replacement but also the loss of collectible value.
I must say it is great to talk to an insurance agent that understands collectible guns.
I have attached the welcome pkg Jack sent me, for your information. I converted it to a PDF so I hope you can open.

Phil, I think you covered it and by the way, Jack is a hell of a nice guy and if he says he will get back to you he does. Eric

I would like to hear from someone who suffered a high value total loss in a fire. If the loss was $400,000 as claimed, how much was recovered? I know this is a hard question, but it is the one all of us would like to know the answer to.

I have purchased insurance through NRA endorsed program adm. by Lockton as many have. This thread shares other insurance plans which are very competitive with what i have. Bill has a excellent point. Has anyone had to face a loss and how was it paid by Locton who has underwriten at Lloyd's London ?

Ditto, Eastern Insurance, Jack Richardson. I'm a "snowbird", move many of the guns halfway across the country twice a year, no problem. No need for detailed listings, although I keep lists, SN's, photos, etc. Never had a claim, but when I switched to Eastern about 2 years ago my premiums went down from over $5K to just over $1K.

Yes, I am going to switch too! having to pay extra every time my collection travels for a display gets expensive 300.00 or more. By the way I am going to ask him shouldn't the PGCA get that 5% deduct too!
