Here in MD. the dove population looks to be above average. Sept.1 is not that far away so it should be good.

My goal for the season is to get a double on doves and, hence, join the Parker Doubles Club.

Head for Argentina and you can shoot doubles all day long!!! You can take lefts and rights coming at you-- or going away from you. On crossers--you come in from behind shoot a bird and keep moving for the second bird near the head of the group. I know--it's not on the flush--but it's still a double!!

Until we get about 20 years of tuition bills behind us, Argentina is not in the cards. I was fortunate enough to go to Argentina, Columbia and Uruguay before the bills started coming. Hope to take both of my boys down there someday.

If you go while they are under 18--you can take them for 1/2 price!! Great father/son deals.....

I will remember that. Thanks for the tip. Uruguay was my favorite of the three and I may try to take them there. It was less expensive than Argentina and better than Columbia.

I suspect they eat them here as well !

But it doesn't seem to slow the birds down to much !

But then we also have DCP's for the deer
