The NoShoc is the Winchester pad in its civilian attire, or the Winchester pad is a NoShoc with a Winchester logo.

We should probably say "Period Correct Aftermarket Pad" for a 1877 Lifter
The first Parker fitted with a "Silvers Recoil Butt" was DH #56553 in 1891 Until then a "Recoil Boot" would have been used. See http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/22972603
