I know this is earthshaking news, but I'll be there.

Here's wishing that everyone who wants to go can and everyone who can, will. We will be having a great time I guanantee it.

I'm sure that rascally Dave F from CA will be there and mabey Ron G it he can. I understand that Dave will be previewing several new hammergun irons that he has had in the fire.

Oh yeah! All you guys who are coming, please be sure to include plans for the hammergun challenge. We are hoping to bag that elusive trophy for the Parker Team.

I'll post some pictures from previous challenges later...

Mr. Dwyer if your going to shoot with us your new 16 must pass inspection first. Luckily I'm the one doing the inspecting

I've gotten a couple of new shootin irons but won't be debuting them at the Southern. I do hope to make a dream come true while there with the adoption of a 410 I've had my eye on.

David,
C.O.B reluctantly took on this burdensome responsibility of inspection of 16ga. high grade guns a few years back. Before handing over your firearm to him please make sure you write down the s/n and take some identifying photos just to protect yourself and your heirs. There are lawsuits pending in the state of NC from last years inspections by C.O.B. You need not worry if they are 20 or 28ga. They will be returned the same day. The 16's on the other hand seem to take an inordinate amount of time. Please do shoot with us. It's the highlight of the whole weekend.

Danny and I will be travelling down to the Southern with Mr and Mrs. Frey. We should arrive Weds. evening. Danny is already talking about the beautiful southern women he met last year.... We can't wait to see all you'se guys and burn an inordinate amount of powder.

David, As you know 16 gauge guns hold a very warm spot in my heart. So with that being said if you are concerned about COB inspecting your gun I would be happy to oblige... Maybe the cooler New England climate would be good for the "Ol Girl"

There should be a wonderful 16 gauge waiting for me there alas not a Parker but still a great gun. Unless it disappears between now and then....

Boys,
There seems to be alot of talk regarding the 16 gauges this year.
Might I suggest a 16 ga event to be taken place on sunday after the hammer event. Open to Parker hammer or hammerless 16 bores only.

Real men shoot 20's. 28's when they feel lucky. Just open it up for any smallbore and we'll have a go of it.

Unfortunately, Sunday is travel day for many of us. Maybe we should modify our schedules to stay another day in Sanford. COB, what's the story on the .410? Is it a Parker?

Mr. Murphy you are correct. However an impromptu small bore event might be alot of fun for those interested. Just trying to keep things interesting.
