I measured from the front of the trigger to the edge of the wood, not including the black plate and rubber pad, and it measured 13".
I just want to clarify that I don't own this shotgun. It belongs to a guy who bought it 50 years ago, and now wants to sell it. I knew there was a big difference in values of different grades of Parkers, so when he told me $2500, I thought it seemed like alot, but wansn't sure. That's where you guys came in. I appreciate all your help, but I'm afraid he's stuck on his $2500 for now. Maybe in a couple of years he'll realize it's worth quite a bit less, unless the market really turns around.
