The bottom sketch is of my Springer Spaniels Belle and Scout and my Lab June. All gone now. Those 3 dogs were all amazing bird dogs that each brought hundreds of birds to the bag. The top sketch is of my English Setters Thicket and Sunny and my English Pointer Dottie. Thicket is gone but Sunny and Dottie are my A team now and leading me through the grouse and woodcock covers from Maine to Minnesota and the prairies and
Uplands of Montana, Kansas and Oklahoma. Madeline did a wonderful job of capturing the essence of these beautiful creatures. |

English setters and pointers are wonderful bird dogs. My dad raised and trained English setters. He always want some pointers in the mix but my mother object to the sight of their bare rear ends. No kidding.
